Love what you do

Getting to make fun creative items is one of my most favorite parts of having an Etsy shop, selling the wonderful items to great people - that is just a bonus. I have big goals for the end of this year and really look forward to making them happen. At the end of last year I told my self that it would really be nice to hit 400 sales this year. Well I am pleased to say that it looks like that is going to happen and then some!! So while the year is still young (to sellers everywhere) I would love to see my shop hit 500 sales. Super New Polar Fleece Pouf

I have never seen anything so cool!! I was just sitting there with my fleece blanket making one of my many new up and coming poufs (I just got a few new styles of yarn) when I said to Lucky wouldn't this blanket look really cool as a pouf? He looked at me and gave me one of his famous head tilts like he was thinking about it or maybe he thought I said "ice cream" lol who knows. Tempted to cut up the blanket right then in there, I waited till I was done with the pouf I was making. After looking online to help me find the best way to cut the fleece I went to the store and bought a color that made me think of my bestest friend (Kelsey) TIE DYE!!! After many attempts at size, lots of trial and error I finely got it! After working for 2 days with very little breaks I have this wonderful little guy to add to my collection. Angel Scarf and Angel Cowl

my latest and greatest... the angel scarf and cowl. crafted with some of the biggest knitting needles i have ever worked with and some of the softest wool/acrylic blends i can find. with its pockets of warmth and style it would be perfect for any occasion.

River Rocks

Inspired by a ball I made for my good friend's baby (James) I came up with these River Rocks! They are pretty much small round decorative pillows. These would be perfect to finish off any bed set, baby's room, or your quite meditation room. They are made out of a strong acrylic and can be washed like a normal pillow or stuffed animal. They will be posted on Lucky Hanks tomorrow.

Life with me

Well here I am for those of you who don't know me but would like to get to know me a little better here goes...

I am 26 years old

I love to smile and my family is all about the hugs and kisses

I just got married to the man of dreams ~ Steve

I have 2 dogs. maybe you have heard of them... they are kinda famous. Lucky my 9 year old, 40lb, Boston terrier. Hank my 2 year old, 125lb Rottie. 

I do work a 40 hour work week for a liquor company that is about a 45 min drive one way everyday. 

I start most of my days at 4:30am and I am home by about 3:15pm unless I have to pull a 10 hr day at work.

I usually come home and watch T.V. and work on new and exciting pieces for my shop

I do all the inside housework and Steve does all the outside. ( I am not a big fan of any bug that flies or hops)

I just started couponing like crazy - so far it has saved a lot! 

I drive a 2008 Grand Prix and that is only the 2nd car I have owned in my life

I do live in a house that Steve and I bought about 2 1/2 years ago - I love our house, it's so big!!

I don't take a lot of trips but I would love to some day

I have a ski ball machine in my basement - yes a full size one from an arcade - it was a wedding present - it is only the funniest game ever!

I do have a yarn office that I would love to redo but hopefully some day soon we will turn it into a baby room

my favorite colors are both orange and blue

Most of all I love spending time with my family and friends and of course Lucky and Hank :)

My dream one day is to stay home with my dogs and yarn, and run LuckyHanks full-time.
